Astro

A mock re-branding project for Astro music festival. An event for those that are into Astrology and Astronomy. It is an inclusive festival that brings people together from every corner of the galaxy and allows them to share their interest in the cosmo, music, food, and good vibes. Tasked with designing the event's logo and overall look and feel and applying this to multiple pieces of marketing.

Concept

To retain the event's essence, I created a logo that evokes music using the Fermata musical notation. Fermata is used in music to prolong a note beyond the typical duration, which suits well with our tag line "music never stops." The letter "O" was inspried by the planet Mars combined with a solar eclipse to recall astrology and astronomy.
