SF PARK (POSTER)

Brief

The objective of this project was to take the complex monthly event of SF park and condense it to create a poster with a precise typographic hierarchy system while keeping it pleasant and easy to digest for the readers.

CONCEPT

The Tibetan endless knot was used as an inspiration. It signifies the fun has no beginning nor end at Golden Gate Park, and a monochromatic blue was used to push that notion even further. Blue is typically associated with the sky and ocean, which signify depth and expansiveness. The events were divided into odd and even days, making the information more digestible. This provided balance and a flow that the readers could easily follow.

Typeface

Playfair Display and Roboto were used for the typographic side of things. Playfair provided a fun, beautiful, and attention-grabbing type while providing class and prestige. Roboto provided trust and order.
